Our mission is to track and detect ocean species.
Currently the earth has already lost 68% of its wildlife species.
By collecting data about ocean species from existing organizations
and citizen knowledge we help scientists and nonscientists by
providing real time information about the current biodiversity status of the ocean.
Tracking and Detecting
Different data sources provide high quality information on the ocean's biodiversity.
Provide easy data access
Easily accessible and comprehensible data for use in scientific and nonscientific field.
Raising Awareness
Involve all people in collecting ocean species data and provide users with valuable knowledge about the status of the ocean's biodiversity.

The primary threats facing green turtles arebycatchin commercial and recreational fishing gear, direct killing of turtles and harvest of eggs, vessel strikes, loss and alteration of nesting habitat, degradation and loss of foraging habitat, and entanglement in or ingestion of marine debris. While many countries prohibit the killing of green sea turtles (including the the United States),in other areas, the killing of turtles for their meat and collection of eggs continues today. Illegal fisheries also operate to supply shells to the wildlife trafficking trade. In addition, rising sea levels and an increase in the frequency and severity of storm events are likely to inundate some nesting beaches.
The Whale Shark has been named the largest fish and shark in the world, weighing in at about 11 tons! These sea creatures are found roaming alone in the Mesoamerican reef, Coral Triangle, Coastal East African waters, and the Gulf of California. Feeding is easy for them due to their five-foot wide mouth. These fish are highly valued in international markets for their meat, fins, and oil.“They’re the most highly fished sharks in the world, with 20 million caught around the world each year, but they’re also the most migratory, so they’re vulnerable to fisheries everywhere,” says Matt Collis of theInternational Fund for Animal Welfare. “This puts pressure on countries to commit to international protection.”
Usually found in the Coral Triangle, the Bluefin Tuna is the largest species of tuna. Bluefin Tuna are natural born predators who hunt by sight. Along with having the sharpest eyesight of any bony fish, they have a torpedo-shaped body
predators who hunt by sight. Along with having the sharpest eyesight of any bony fish, they have a torpedo-shaped body which gives them the advantage of speed. The Bluefin Tuna is a highly-sought after delicacy for sushi in Asia, selling for $1.75 million for one fish! Because of their high prices, fisherman are using even more refined technology to catch these fish.
